i’m thanh-ha, "ha" in hanoi my city.
i love flowers and everything connected to them: arrangement, language, scent, sometimes fluctuating prices, and how the media depicts them. fun fact: “hanoi 12 flower season” is one of my favorite songs, and i can pinpoint the flower of the month on the spot.
my professional interests lie at the crossroads of healthcare, society, and economics, especially how cultural beliefs and financial barriers shape rare disease patients’ access to care, which i have explored through my involvement in National Rare Disease Day. throughout my high school career i was involved in national team economics, debate, and served as class president.
i love writing daily journal entries and filling them with stickers and washi tape, plus favorite quotes, recipes, and flower facts i’ve collected. i’m captivated by ocean vuong’s piercing, emotive lines and jia tolentino’s incisive critical voice (can’t go a day without my kindle). as a self-proclaimed “jack of all trades, master of some” i love swimming, art and crafts, baking, accessory hunting, and so much more. my two younger siblings were naturally roped in and they became my willing co-conspirators.
